In this free flowing program filled with examples and presenter led discussions, attendees will gain a better insight from their own experience from a personal and professional perspective on how unconscious bias is impacting them and their company culture.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify what unconscious bias is, its evolutionary purpose and why we all have unconscious biases
  • Discuss and provide examples of how unconscious bias can manifest itself within the workplace; its negative impact on the employee life cycle from recruitment through off board and its ultimate formation of company culture diminishing diversity and inclusion efforts
  • Provide steps to uncover and minimize the effects of unconscious bias in the workplace
