Please be sure to review the below information from our By-Laws regarding Ethics and Solicitation. This information is provided so you know NKY SHRM’s expectations and how the information you have access to can and cannot be used. If you feel another Member of our organization is acting inappropriately or mis-using the information from our website, particularly our roster, please contact a Board Member immediately so the issue can be investigated and resolved.

ARTICLE IV 4.8 ETHICS – The Chapter adopts SHRM’s Code of Ethical and Professional Standards in Human Resource Management for members of the Association in order to promote and maintain the highest standards among our members. Each member shall honor, respect and support the purposes of this Chapter and of SHRM. The Chapter shall not be represented as advocating or endorsing any issue unless approved by the Board of Directors.

4.9 SOLICITATION – No member Company, nor representative of a member Company, shall engage in any form of solicitation of their product or services during NKY SHRM meetings or functions nor through the use of rosters or materials obtained through the Association. Requests for exception to this policy must be presented to the Board for approval.
