A presentation on updates and changes to federal and state laws effecting the Human Resources sector touching on all areas of HR such as hiring, unemployment, immigration, compensation and over-time and any other areas impacted by changes in 2020.  

Impact of COVID-19 on federal and state regulations will be discussed.

Kelly Holden heads the firm’s employment law division, which represents private and public employers in all facets of employment law. Her employment law practice includes advising clients on compliance with various employment laws and providing in-house training on such issues. Kelly has experience working with the EEOC, DOL, DOJ, Kentucky Commission on Human Rights, Kentucky Labor Cabinet, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, as well as litigating cases in federal and state courts. She also drafts employment and non-compete agreements, with an emphasis on health care provider and physician agreements. She also advises companies on 1-9 compliance and performs 1-9 audits, conducts harassment investigations, drafts employee handbooks and employment policies and, does training on all aspects of employment law. Kelly was featured on WVXU Cincinnati, as a subject matter expert, to speak on 25 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the impact it has.
